Squid in Red Wine and Tomato Sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onions and saute until golden, about 7 minutes.
  3. Add squid and saute 1 minute.
  4. Add tomatoes, wine, basil, parsley, oregano, tomato paste, and crushed red pepper.
  5. Simmer until squid is tender and sauce thickens slightly, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
