Broiled Catfish Hawaiian Recipe
- 2 lb catfish fillets, or possibly other fish fillets, fresh or possibly fresh-frzn
- 1/2 c. pineapple juice
- 1/4 c. steak sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 dsh pepper
- Skin fillets and cut into serving size portions.
- Place fish in a single layer in a shallow baking dish.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over fish.
- Let stand for 30 min, turning once.
- Remove fish, reserving sauce for basting.
- Place fish on a well greased broiler pan.
- Broil about 4" from source of heat for 4 to 6 min.
- Turn carefully and brush with sauce.
- Broil 4 to 6 min longer or possibly till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
