Coconut Chocolate Pie

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt.
  2. Stir in milk until smooth.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened (mixture will thicken quickly).
  4. Remove from the heat.
  5. Add chopped candy bars and vanilla; stir until chocolate is melted.
  6. Pour into pastry shell.
  7. Press plastic wrap onto filling.
  8. Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
  9. Remove plastic wrap.
  10. Slice and serve with whipped cream.
