Chicken Crescent Squares
- 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 3 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
- 2 cups Cooked Chicken, Cubed
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Chives
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 8 ounces, weight Can Of Crescent Rolls
- Melted Butter, To Brush On Pastry
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Blend cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the chicken, milk, chives, and salt and pepper; mix well.
- Separate crescent roll dough into four squares; press perforations firmly to seal.
- Spoon 1/2 cup of filling on the center of each square.
- Pull the 4 corners of the dough to the top center of the chicken mixture and twist.
- Press and seal the edges.
- Brush tops with 1 teaspoon of butter, melted.
- Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
