Chicken Crescent Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Blend cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the chicken, milk, chives, and salt and pepper; mix well.
  4. Separate crescent roll dough into four squares; press perforations firmly to seal.
  5. Spoon 1/2 cup of filling on the center of each square.
  6. Pull the 4 corners of the dough to the top center of the chicken mixture and twist.
  7. Press and seal the edges.
  8. Brush tops with 1 teaspoon of butter, melted.
  9. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
