Garden Veggie And Ham Salad
- 2 cup chopped cooked ham
- 4 cup uncooked small pasta shells (14 ounces) I use the ones that look like small sea shells.
- 2 cup chopped cucumbers
- 1 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 *Dressing*
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt (I use less)
- 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- Cook pasta as directed on package.
- Drain; rinse with cold water to cool.
- Drain well.
- Meanwhile, in a larger bowl, mix remaining salad ingredients.
- In a small bowl, mix all dressing ingredients until well blended.
- Add cooked pasta to salad.
- Pour dressing over salad; toss to coat.
- Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
- *You can also substitute chopped cooked turkey or chicken instead of the ham.
