Betty Crocker's Cobb Salad
- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 14 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 12 teaspoon ground mustard
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder (not garlic salt)
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 6 cups salad greens, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups cooked chicken or 2 cups cooked turkey, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and chopped
- 14 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 4 slices streaky bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- For Vinaigrette dressing, combine vegetable oil, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and pepper in screw top jar and shake well.
- Chill until ready to use.
- Divide salad greens among 4 plates.
- Arrange each salad ingredient separately in rows on top of leaves.
- Drizzle with vinaigrette and serve.
