Apple Crunch
- 3 lbs cooking apples
- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup butter
- nutmeg
- Peel, core, and slice apples and place in a buttered baking dish.
- Mix flour and sugar well.
- Mix them to a paste with the butter.
- Spread over the top of the apples.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Bake in 375 degree oven for 35 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
