Apple Crunch

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples and place in a buttered baking dish.
  2. Mix flour and sugar well.
  3. Mix them to a paste with the butter.
  4. Spread over the top of the apples.
  5. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  6. Bake in 375 degree oven for 35 minutes.
  7. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
