Pizza with Caramelized Onions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Remove pizza dough from the bowl.
  3. Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
  4. Using your rolling pin, roll the dough into a 14-inch round.
  5. Transfer pizza dough to a baking stone.
  6. Spread fresh made pizza sauce onto the pizza dough, leaving about 1/2 inch at the edges uncovered.
  7. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, alternating each as you go.
  8. Spread caramelized onions on top of the cheese.
  9. Bake pizza at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
  10. The crust should be golden brown and the cheese should be bubbly.
  11. Remove from oven, cool slightly, slice, serve and enjoy!
