Hot Spiced Fruit
- 1 (26 oz.) can pear halves or pieces
- 2 (26 oz.) cans sliced peaches
- 1 (16 oz.) can mandarin oranges
- 1 (12 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
- 3 (16 oz.) cans pineapple chunks in natural juice
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
- 1/2 stick margarine
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- Spray 3-quart casserole with Pam.
- Drain all fruit, except cranberry sauce.
- Mix drained fruit in casserole dish.
- Let stand. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
- Add lemon juice, brown sugar and spices.
- Drain excess liquid from casserole.
- Stir in cranberry sauce.
- Pour brown sugar mixture over fruit.
- Bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
- Cool and then refrigerate overnight.
