Pumpkin Apple Cake

  1. Cream butter, gradually beat in sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir in vanilla, apple and pumpkin.
  4. Blend in dry ingredients (except powdered sugar), which have been mixed together, and orange rind.
  5. Turn into greased and floured 9 inch bunct pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 65-70 minutes, then turn out on rack to cool.
  7. When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar.
