Salad Caprese

  1. Cut tomatoes into thick slices.
  2. Lay 2 slices on a plate.
  3. Cut the fresh mozzarella in slices.
  4. Place a mozzarella slice on top of each tomato slice.
  5. Put a basil leaf on top of each stack.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top of the tomatoes and mozzarella slices.
  7. Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil and serve immediately
