Cranberry Apple Filled Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press two-thirds crust mixture evenly onto bottom of lightly greased 11x7-inch glass baking dish.
  4. Bake 10-15 minutes or until puffed.
  5. Combine cranberries, sugar, cranberry-apple juice and apples in 2-quart saucepan.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
  7. Stir together orange marmalade and cornstarch in bowl.
  8. Gradually stir into hot fruit mixture.
  9. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 1-2 minutes or until mixture boils and is thickened.
  10. Spread fruit mixture over hot, partially baked crust.
  11. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  12. Bake 22-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  13. Cool completely.
  14. Cut into bars.
