Thousand Island Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, chile sauce, shallot or onion, and red or green bell pepper.
  2. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
  3. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 3 days.
