Beef Pot Roast Oriental/Pressure Cooker Recipe

  1. Combine garlic salt, mustard and pepper; rub into roast.
  2. Heat pressure cooker.
  3. Add in shortening; brown roast well on all sides.
  4. Combine water, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, celery seed and ginger; pour over meat.
  5. Close cover tightly.
  6. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe.
  7. Cook 40 minutes.
  8. Let pressure drop on its own accord.
  9. Thicken gravy if you like.
  10. 6 to 8 Servings.
  11. Be sure you start timing once pessure is reached.
