Easy Chicken Parmesan Recipe
- 4 half chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 ounce. (1 c.) Italian style bread crumbs (such as Progresso)
- 2 ounce. (1/2 c.) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (such as Lawry's)
- 6 ounce. sliced Provolone cheese
- 32 ounce. Prego spaghetti sauce (plain or possibly mushroom)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and seasoning salt in a shallow bowl.
- Dip chicken pcs in egg; coat liberally with combined bread crumb, Parmesan cheese, and salt mix.
- Fry in warm pan with minimum oil till chicken is fully cooked and coating is at least medium brown.
- Place in baking pan.
- Cover with spaghetti sauce.
- Place cheese slices on top.
- Bake 20 to 25 min at 400 degrees.
- Allow to cold slightly before serving.
- 4 portions, but so good you may need to make more for 4 people!
