Butter Chicken Recipe
- 2 lrg chicken breasts
- 50 gm butter
- 1 lrg onion finely minced
- 3 x black cardamoms (optional)
- 1 lrg clv garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp each: chilli pwdr, turmeric, cumin grnd ginger, nutmeg.
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. cream
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Skin chicken breasts and slice into strips.
- Coat each piece of chicken in combined chilli pwdr, turmeric, cumin, grnd ginger, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
- Heat butter in cooking pot, add in onion and garlic and cook till soft.
- Add in chicken stirring till golden brown.
- Add in tomato paste and Garam masala.
- Stir in cream, then simmer gently for approx.
- 10 min.
- Serve with rice.
