One More Dish!

  1. Cover the tofu with a paper towel and set it aside to drain.
  2. Chop it up into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice the king oyster mushrooms into 5 mm thin pieces.
  4. Also slice the bacon into 1 cm wide strips.
  5. Heat a frying pan that's large enough that the tofu pieces won't overlap.
  6. Spread some vegetable oil and add the tofu from Step 1.
  7. Toast the tofu over medium heat.
  8. When browned, flip them over and continue to toast.
  9. When done, turn the heat off.
  10. Using a separate frying pan (or the same frying pan with the tofu removed), spread on some vegetable oil and stir-fry the king oyster mushrooms and the bacon.
  11. When the mushrooms and bacon are cooked enough, lightly season with salt and pepper.
  12. In the same frying pan, add the cooked tofu, butter, and soy sauce.
  13. Mix with a spatula without breaking the tofu.
