Tavern Welsh Rabbit With Beer Recipe
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 pound sharp cheddar, grated
- 3/4 c. beer
- Dash Tabasco
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- Tomato slices
- Toast
- Heat butter in top of double boiler.
- Add in beer (minus 1 Tbsp.)
- and cheese.
- Mix seasonings with 1 Tbsp.
- beer and add in to cheese.
- Stir in egg.
- Serve over toast and tomato slices.
