Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. Cut the potatoes into eighths.
  2. Put the potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water.
  3. place the lid on and put on a high heat.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. That should take about 15 minutes.
  6. Boil the potatoes until soft, that should take about 10 minutes.
  7. Test with a fork.
  8. Strain the potatoes.
  9. Preheat the milk and garlic salt in a saucepan until it just starting to boil.
  10. Add all the milk and garlic salt mix with the potatoes, salt and butter in a pot and mash.
  11. You can serve it with gravy and your favourite protein, or just have it on its own.
