Mother-In-Law's Bread Pudding

  1. Break bread up and soak in the milk, heat if in a hurry as it soaks in faster.
  2. Mix in the other ingredients.
  3. add a little extra milk if it looks too thick.
  4. Put into greased pie dish, the thickness will affect the cooking time.
  5. We usually have the bread mix about 2 inches deep in the dish.
  6. Penny (and I) add a little nutmeg and sugar on top.
  7. Cook for about 45 mins at 350F, Gas Mark 4, 180C.
