Sweet& Sour Alaska Salmon

  1. Saute onions and peppers in oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until softened.
  2. Whisk together remaining ingredients except salmon, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour into skillet with onion-pep-per mixture and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  5. Cut center bones and skin from salmon steaks and cut into 1-inch chunks.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place on a greased baking sheet and broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until fish just flakes when tested with a fork.
  8. Serve salmon nuggets with a bowl of sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
