- 4 stalks Celery, Thinly Sliced
- 1 whole Carrot, Grated
- 3/4 cups Blue Cheese Dressing
- Frank's Red Hot Sauce, To Taste
- 9 ounces, weight 93/7 Ground Beef
- 9 ounces, weight 80/20 Ground Beef
- 4 whole Onion Hamburger Buns
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Combine celery, carrot, blue cheese dressing, and 1 teaspoon of Franks Red Hot with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
- Mix the ground beef together, making sure to not overwork the meat.
- Form 4 large patties and put a dimple in the center of the burger with your finger.
- This will help prevent the dreaded burger bulge.
- While youre forming the patties, heat a (cast-iron preferred) skillet or outdoor grill to medium high heat.
- Salt and pepper the patties just before placing in the skillet.
- Cook on both sides for about 4 minutes each side.
- Refrain from pressing the burgers while cooking.
- This will decrease the juiciness significantly.
- Toast the burger buns under the broiler, and once toasty, squirt a few (or more than a few) drops of Franks Red Hot on each side of the bun, place a burger patty on top, and finally top with the celery slaw mixture.
- Douse with more hot sauce to your liking, and ENJOY!
