Lavender-Chamomile Tequila

  1. Special equipment: a cocktail shaker
  2. Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice.
  3. Shake the Chamomile-Infused Reposado, Lavender Honey Simple Syrup, lime juice and bitters in a cocktail shaker.
  4. Pour into the glass and garnish with a lavender.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. Put the tequila in a measuring cup, add the tea bags and let steep for 30 minutes; remove and discard the tea bags.
  7. Store in a jar.
  8. Put jar in your purse.
  9. Cry at a bus stop.
  10. (Not those last parts.)
  11. The reposado can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.
  12. Yield: About 1 cup
  13. Put the honey, lavender and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat and warm, stirring once or twice, until the honey melts.
  14. Cool; strain into a jar.
  15. The simple syrup can be refrigerated, covered, for 1 week.
  16. Yield: 1 cup
