Banana And Mango Chutney Recipe

  2. Combine vinegar, sugar, curry pwdr, all three peppers, salt, cinnamon and chopped garlic in a 4-qt non-reactive saucepan.
  3. Heat to simmer, stirring, and cook for 1 minute.

  5. Peel 4 bananas, slice and add in to saucepan.
  6. Add in 1 c. diced mangos.
  7. Heat fruit mix and simmer, uncovered, 10 min, stirring occasionally till mix thickens.

  9. Slice and add in remaining bananas to chutney.
  10. Add in remaining diced mangos and raisins.
  11. Stir to mix well, remove from heat, cover and let stand 30 min.
  12. 4.
  13. Serve warm or possibly cool with curries or possibly as a condiment with meat, fish or possibly poultry dishes.
