Christmas Wreath Cookies

  1. Melt butter, add marshmallows.
  2. When mixture is smooth, add extracts, coloring, and cereal.
  3. Form into wreath shapes, and decorate with red cinnamon imperial candies while mixture is still warm.
  4. *Make sure to butter your hands before shaping wreaths, as the mixture is sticky.
  5. I've found it easier to use a large scoop or large cooking spoon to drop the mixture onto waxed paper, and then use my index finger to make a hole in the middle while pressing the rest of the mixture into a wreath shape.
  6. Let sit until you can lift the whole cookie without it falling apart -- or enjoy them warm and sticky and claim that they just didn't "turn out" ;) The yield depends entirely on how big you make your cookies.
