Trout in a Bag
- 2 whole Cleaned Trout
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 whole Sweet Vidalia Onion
- 3 slices Lemon, Per Fish
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 sprig Fresh Parsley
- Begin with whole, cleaned trout.
- On a large piece of foil, drop three spoonfuls of butter and at least five slices of the onion and about 2 slices of lemon.
- Place the trout on top of the onions, lemon, & butter, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a few sprigs of the fresh parsley, and fold the foil over to form a bag.
- Try to seal the bag and make it as airtight as possible.
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
- When removing from the oven, cut a small hole into the bag, pour out the excess lemon-butter juice and use for garnishing, drizzling and tipping.
- Makes the most flavorful, moist trout youve ever had.
