Chocolate Dough

  1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in syrup.
  3. Mix until chocolate starts to pull together to form a dough.
  4. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 8 hours in the refrigerator.
  5. After the dough has chilled, dust work surface with sugar.
  6. Begin to knead and shape the dough.
  7. Dough will keep at least 2 weeks (in plastic wrap) in the refrigerator.
