Vanilla Sugar
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 whole Fresh Vanilla Bean
- Place the sugar in a sealed container.
- Split the vanilla bean in half lengthwise.
- Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla bean into the sugar.
- Place the vanilla bean in the container and seal.
- Set the container in a cool, dark place, such as your cupboard, and let sit for at least 1 week.
- Use in place of regular sugar.
- This recipe makes just 2 cups of sugar.
- Feel free to make a larger quantity, using 1 vanilla bean for every 2 cups of sugar.
- Enjoy!
