Quick! Easy! Rich Braised Chicken Drumettes
- 600 grams Chicken wings (the drumettes or the first section)
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Consomme stock granules
- 1 clove or more Garlic
- Pour some oil in a heated thick-set pot and add the chopped garlic.
- Saute until fragrant and then add the drumettes.
- Brown all the sides lightly.
- Add all the ingredients and cover with a lid.
- Cook over a medium to high heat for 10 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of ketchup according to the amount of the meat and to suit your taste.
- Remove the lid and check the inside.
- Once the sauce bubbles vigorously and the sauce starts to reduce, increase the heat to high and cook down the sauce.
- Reduce the sauce until very syrupy and it is ready.
- Transfer onto a serving dish.
