Curried Fruit Or Hot Fruit Salad Recipe
- 1 (16 ounce.) can apricot halves
- 1 (16 ounce.) can pear halves
- 1 (16 ounce.) can peach halves
- 1 (16-20 ounce.) can pineapple halves
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 sm. jar cherries
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 1/2 stick butter
- Place liquid removed fruit (save juices) in large casserole.
- Mix cornstarch with 1 c. fruit juice with butter in saucepan.
- Add in brown sugar, juice mix and curry pwdr.
- Stir on low heat till consistency of light cream sauce.
- Pour over fruit.
- Add in pecans and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Delicious with ham.
