Pork Tenderloin with Caramelized Apple & Cream Sauce
- 1 pork tenderloin (1 lb./450 g), cut into 4 pieces Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 apple, chopped Safeway 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
- Cook meat in nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Transfer meat to platter; cover to keep warm.
- Add butter and sugar to skillet; cook and stir 2 min.
- or until butter is melted and mixture is well blended.
- Add apples; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- Remove apples from skillet; cover to keep warm.
- Add cream cheese product, milk, wine and thyme to skillet; cook and stir on medium-low heat 3 min.
- or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is heated through.
- Drizzle over meat; top with apples.
