Sushi Balls with Cured Ham & Corn
- 12 slice Cured ham (e.g. proscuitto)
- 1 Corn
- 1 Mayonnaise
- 360 ml Uncooked regular white rice
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 a teaspoon Salt
- Combine the ingredients marked with to make the sushi vinegar.
- Pour the warm rice into a large bowl and fold in the sushi vinegar.
- You're only using 2 cups of rice, so using a bowl here is fine.
- Add the corn, mix it in, and leave the mixture to cool.
- Shape the sushi rice into balls and cover with mayonnaise.
- I recommend using more mayo than I did in this photo.
- I made 12 sushi balls here.
- Wrap the cured ham around the rice to complete Try topping with some radish sprouts.
