Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 28 ounces Italian-style tomatoes
- 12 ounces tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 -8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 12 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- Brown the beef in a sauce pan.
- Remove the beef and sweat the onions in a bit of olive oil until tender.
- Add garlic, continue to saute for roughly 3 minutes.
- Take beef, onions, garlic and all remaining ingredients and put in a large pot.
- Bring to a boil and then simmer for an hour.
- Enjoy!
