Noir Sidecar

  1. Moisten half of the outer rim of a martini glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with superfine sugar.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Add the Cognac, Cointreau, Benedictine, Poire William and lemon juice and shake well.
  4. Strain into the prepared martini glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
