Frosted Pumpkin-Walnut Cookies

  1. Cream butter; gradually add brown sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  3. Stir in pumpkin and flavorings.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  5. Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
  6. Stir in walnuts.
  7. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake at 375F (190C) F for 12 minutes.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
  10. Make about 5 dozens.
  11. Frost with Maple Frosting.
