Parmesan Herb Puffs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Light Butter
- 4 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Spray baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper; set aside.
- Combine flour, Italian seasoning, garlic salt and red pepper in bowl; set aside.
- Combine water and light butter in heavy 2-quart saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Using wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture until dough forms ball.
- Continue cooking 1 minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Place dough into bowl; cool 5 minutes.
- Add 1 egg at a time, beating well with electric mixer after each addition, until dough is smooth.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and chives.
- Drop level tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
- Serve warm.
