Parmesan Herb Puffs

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Spray baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper; set aside.
  3. Combine flour, Italian seasoning, garlic salt and red pepper in bowl; set aside.
  4. Combine water and light butter in heavy 2-quart saucepan.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low.
  7. Using wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture until dough forms ball.
  8. Continue cooking 1 minute.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Place dough into bowl; cool 5 minutes.
  11. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well with electric mixer after each addition, until dough is smooth.
  12. Stir in Parmesan cheese and chives.
  13. Drop level tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  14. Bake 25-30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
  15. Serve warm.
