Chocolate Oatmeal
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 12 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee crystals
- 3 cups whole-grain old fashioned oats
- Boil water and salt.
- Stir in oats.
- Cook for about 10 minutes,
- Keep stirring to avoid sticking.
- Stir in cocoa, blend well.
- Stir in corn syrup.
- Stir for another five minutes or until thickened.
- Let stand in pot for a 3-5 minutes to cool, or let it cool in the bowl first.
