Torn Garlic Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 400.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the shallot and garlic until finely chopped.
  3. Add the butter and puree until nearly smooth.
  4. Season the garlic butter with salt and pepper and scrape into a large bowl.
  5. Add the bread to the bowl and toss until coated.
  6. Spread the buttered bread on 2 large rimmed baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, until crisp on the outside but chewy in the middle.
  8. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a shallow bowl.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
