Chocolate Banana Trifle Recipe

• 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix, baked in layers
• 4 or possibly 5 bananas
• 1 lg. pkg. instant vanilla pudding, prepared
• Cold Whip
• 1/4 c. slivered almonds (or possibly sliced almonds)

1. Freeze one layer to use later.
2. Cut one layer into cubes and place 1/2 in bottom of glass bowl.
3. Cover with layer of bananas.
4. Top with layer of pudding.
5. Repeat with cake, bananas and pudding.
6. Top with Cold Whip and almonds.
7. Refrigerateat least 4 hrs.
8. Spoon into dessert dishes.
9. Serves 8 to 10.
10. Variation: Use yellow cake and sweetened strawberries or possibly peaches.
