Buffalo Turkey Burgers ala Rachael Ray

  1. Mix the turkey, spices, garlic, and celery to combine, then form into 4 even patties.
  2. Prepare the grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350 degrees to 450 degrees F).
  3. Approximate grilling time is 12 minutes, doing about 6-8 minutes on the first side and 4-6 minutes on the second side.
  4. While the burgers grill, melt butter over low heat in a skillet large enough to accommodate all 4 burgers.
  5. Add Franks and whisk to combine.
  6. Once burgers are grilled, place the patties in the butter and Franks sauce and turn to evenly coat.
  7. Combined the sour cream and blue cheese to form a thick paste.
  8. Assemble burgers with rolls smeared with blue cheese, a saucy burger and leaf lettuce.
  9. Note: Since there isnt a binder in this burger, be gentle when grilling them or after patties are formed, freeze for 30 minutes to insure they hold their shape.
