Butter Sponge Cake Recipe

  1. Sift together flour and baking pwdr.
  2. Heat lowfat milk and butter until butter melts; keep warm.
  3. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored; gradually add in sugar, beating constantly.
  4. Add in vanilla.
  5. Add in flour mix; stir just until mixed.
  6. Gently stir in the warm lowfat milk mix.
  7. Bake in greased and floured 9x9x2-inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min.
  8. Do not invert; cold in pan.
