Olive Cheese Ball
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup chopped stuffed green olives
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives
- 1 tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 3/4 to 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with both types of olives, onions and Tabasco sauce.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Set cheese mixture in refrigerator about 15 minutes to harden slightly for easier handling.
- Shape cheese mixture into a ball.
- Roll in chopped parsley to coat well.
- Return to refrigerator.
- Chill for 15 to 20 minutes or until serving time.
- Serve with assorted crackers.
- If desired, cheese mixture can be thinned with sour cream or milk to serve as a dip.
- Use parsley as a garnish.
