Country Beef and Rice

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon and set aside.
  3. Brown beef with onion in hot drippings in skillet;drain fat.
  4. Add vegetables, soup, water and garlic powder.
  5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
  6. Stir in bacon and rice.
  7. Cover; remove from heat.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
