Molasses, Spice & Everything Nice Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 425F & Then start mixing your dry ingredients in a med.
  2. Size mixing Bowl.- Flour & all the spices.
  3. Mix all wet ingredients in a large size mixing bowl.
  4. I start with sugar & then add my melted amish butter that I softened on the preheated stove.
  5. Then pour in the molasses & add room temp.
  6. Eggs.
  7. Slowly add the flour/ dry ingredients into the wet ingredients by folding in & mixing well.
  8. I usually pour the flour mix in by dividing it into 3-4 desperate intervals.
  9. Make sure all the ingredients have fully mixed & its a nice smooth texture.
  10. Refrigerate dough for apx.
  11. 15-30 min.
  12. To thicken it up & make more pliable for rolling into small rounds.
  13. Roll dough into little balls & roll into a small bowl of sugar.
  14. Place on parchment paper or Aluminum lined baking sheet.
  15. Bake @ 425F for 7-9 min.
  16. Mine seemed perfect baking @6-7min.
  17. Makes apx.
  18. 5 dozen small cookies.
