Grilled Chicken Soup
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 6 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 carrots
- 2 celery ribs
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
- 9 ounces wide egg noodles
- 2 small bay leaves
- 6 cups homemade chicken stock
- Add salt and pepper to the chicken and then addto the grill.
- Meanwhile add 2 tablespoons of butter to a saute pan.
- Add the carrots,and celery and cook until soft(medium high heat).
- Add the chicken stock, thyme,salt,pepper, wide egg noodles, a bay leaves.
- Simmer for 15 mins until the noodles are cooked.
- Add the chicken which should be cubed in small one inch cubes.
- Add salt and pepper if the salt and pepper I added are not enough for your tastes.
