Green Beans With Cheese And Peppers
- 1 bag (20-oz) frozen cut green beans
- 1/2 jar (3-oz) roasted red pepper strips, drained and slivered
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. blue cheese (3-oz), crumbled
- 1/2 c. Italian-style bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Spray a 2-quart oval casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
- Combine green beans, red pepper strips, salt and pepper in prepared dish.
- Place cream cheese and milk in small saucepan; heat over low heat, stirring until melted.
- Add blue cheese; stir only until combined.
- Pour cheese mixture over green bean mixture and stir until green beans are coated.
- Combine bread crumbs and margarine in small bowl; sprinkle evenly over casserole.
- Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
