Homemade Ponzu Sauce
- 100 ml Soy sauce
- 50 ml Vinegar
- 30 ml Mirin
- 100 ml Any citrus juice
- Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, and mirin in a pot and heat.
- Don't let it boil much.
- Remove from the heat once it starts to bubble.
- Let cool.
- Once cooled, add your favorite citrus juice.
- If using mirin seasoning, you can just mix it.
- If you use hon-mirin, but don't mind the alcohol, you don't need to heat it.
- It's done!
- Store in a container.
- I used it on some bonito!
