Pumpkin Spice Hot White Chocolate

  1. In a saucepan, bring milk to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Do not allow to boil.
  3. Reduce heat.
  4. Mix in the pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice (optional), and vanilla.
  5. Continue to warm over low heat for 5 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
  6. Pour the milk mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a clean saucepan.
  7. Warm over medium-low heat.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in the white chocolate; continue to stir until completely melted.
  9. Add pinch of sea salt.
  10. Top each serving with whipped cream, a few shavings of white chocolate, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  11. Serve immediately.
