French Country Chicken
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen baby carrots, thawed and drained
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans, thawed and drained
- 2 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee fried onions
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
- dash of salt and pepper
- paprika and garlic salt
- In 8 x 12-inch baking dish, combine vegetables and 1/2 can French fried onions.
- Arrange chicken breasts on vegetables.
- In small bowl, combine other ingredients (except remaining onions). Pour over chicken and vegetables.
- Sprinkle chicken with paprika. Bake, covered, at 375u0b0 for 40 minutes or until chicken is done. Baste chicken with wine sauce and top with remaining onions. Bake, uncovered, 3 minutes or until onions are golden brown. Makes 4 servings.
