Mushroom Delight
- 1 12 lbs mixed mushrooms (sliced )
- 14 cup butter
- 12 cup flour
- half-and-half
- salt and pepper (to taste )
- 14 cup lemon juice
- Saute sliced mushrooms in hot butter.
- Stir in flour.
- Add half and half, stirring to make a thick gravy.
- Add salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste.
- Serve on lettuce, in patty shells or on rounds of white toast.
- Garnish with tomato slices and parsley.
- Serve hot as a first course.
